Fantastic opportunity for an established Financial Controller or Finance Manager to join an ambitious and growing SaaS business on a part-time basis. As they scale, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial management and provide strategic financial guidance to help drive sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the Board and senior leadership to ensure financial integrity while aligning financial strategies with the company’s goals.
- Partner with leadership on pricing models, unit economics, and growth forecasts.
- Provide financial modelling, support for any fundraising and board reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our goals and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage annual audits, and stay up to date with evolving financial regulations and best practices.
- Accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments and collections.
- Proficient in running monthly payroll, including all regular processes, staff benefits and statutory deductions as necessary.
- Optimize financial systems and reporting tools for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Deliver clear, actionable financial reports to stakeholders and board members.
- Communicate complex financial data to enable informed, growth-oriented decisions across teams.
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with significant post qualified experience. Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager ideally from a SaaS or IT/Tech business. Strong knowledge of Excel and (Xero preferable). A-Z accounting experience covering budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
