Unique opportunity for an ambitious and initiative-taking ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional to join an exciting business during a significant period of growth.
Reporting directly to the CFO you will have full autonomy over financial operations and financial controls driving improvements in processes and delivering information for key business decision making.

The Role
- Preparation of monthly management accounts on time to deadline with key financial insights and variance analysis.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving
- Spot and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial analysis to support business objectives and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior management team on budgeting, forecasting and strategy.
- Run accurate cashflow reports making suggestions for optimisation.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee VAT returns and monthly payroll.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance and inform decision-making.
- Management of Assistant Accountant.
The Candidate
- Proven record in a relevant role and the ability to work with a senior leadership team.
- Genuine desire to progress and develop once established in the role.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
