Responsibilities: Process sales journals in Opera and make necessary adjustments as required.
Prepare a cash flow forecast, including the month-end payment run.
Review and authorise all payments Deposit cash and cheques at the bank as required.
Reconcile debtors' and creditors' ledgers to the TB; once agreed, close the ledgers on Opera.
Agree and submit quarterly VAT returns.
Maintain the fixed asset register and post monthly depreciation journals.
Complete monthly creditor invoice analysis to support accruals and prepayments.
Prepare and post prepayment and accrual journals Produce and review monthly management accounts with the MD for submission in line with group deadlines Reconcile petty cash used in stores and post the related journal entries.
Monitor school hardship and staff funds.
Track utility and waste accounts, obtaining renewal quotes where necessary.
Stock reconciliation, nominal to Cybertill Assist with internal and external audits.
