On an exclusive basis, Greenwell Gleeson is seeking a Part-Time / Fractional Finance Director to support a small but niche construction firm, with exciting plans to grow exponentially in the coming years. The finance executive will have significant experience in the construction sector and a demonstrable track record in controlling costs, cash flow reporting and working capital optimisation.
In consultation with the Founder & Owner, we have defined success to include the following:
- Ensuring Cost Control in its existing developments and new developments about to kick-start.
- Provide visibility to the owner/MD and external investors on future cash requirements.
- Support/offer insight to the owner/MD on major operational decisions and support the strategic decision-making process.
- Optimise working capital and minimise likely cash/funding requirements going forward.
- Mentor a talented junior accountant to in the long-term take on a more significant role in the growing enterprise.
- Support the production & presentation of financial information to both internal & external stakeholders when required.
At present, it is envisaged all of the above can be achieved on the basis of 1 day a week for a period of 6-12 months.
