greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Birmingham with Hybrid Working Available.
Duties of the role will incude:
- Group monthly reporting
- Preparation of consolidated profit and loss
- Reconciliation of inter company trading accounts
- Month end accruals and review of overheads
- Preparation of Departmental management accounts.
- Daily Sales Reporting
- Assistance in annual budget
- VAT Returns and associated tasks
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Control Account Reconciliations
- Government Statistics
- Payroll Accounting
- Internet Banking authorisation
- Liaise with auditors
- Support and develop junior members of the team
- Ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- Good analytical skills
- Manufacturing Experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Organisation and time management skills (priorities and multi tasks)
- Computer literate with good spreadsheet capability
