The Real Estate Team

The team’s work spans the full spectrum of real estate matters, including:
- Major office, retail, and leisure developments

The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate (2–5 PQE) to join its highly regarded London team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners on landmark transactions and to build your expertise within a top-tier, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transactional Work:
- Advise on acquisitions, disposals, development projects, lettings, and asset management matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key real estate documents, including sale and purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and related contracts.
- Manage your own matters with appropriate supervision, ensuring efficient progress and excellent client service.
Client Engagement:
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, delivering clear, commercially focused advice.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business objectives and tailor advice to meet their strategic needs.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including client pitches, presentations, and relationship-building activities.
Teamwork and Development:
- Work closely with partners, senior associates, and other team members on complex transactions.
- Support and mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of collaboration.
- Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and firmwide initiatives to support professional growth.
Quality and Risk Management:
- Maintain the highest standards of technical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adhere to the firm’s rigorous quality and risk management protocols.
- Identify potential issues proactively and escalate them appropriately.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience in real estate law, ideally gained at a leading law firm.
- Strong experience in investment, development, and asset management transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Commercially astute, with a sound understanding of market trends and sector drivers.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a client-focused approach and a commitment to excellence.
- Enthusiastic about professional growth and contributing to a high-performing, innovative practice.
