Greenway Facilities Services is a growing facilities management business delivering reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, compliance services and project works across the South West.

As part of our continued growth, we are bringing our HVAC capability in-house and are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC & Refrigeration Engineer to help establish and grow this division.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and play a key role in developing a specialist service offering.

Main Duties

  • Carry out reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Diagnose faults and undertake repairs.
  • Service and maintain air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems.
  • Carry out minor installations and replacement works.
  • Produce service reports and recommendations.
  • Support REFCOM and F-Gas compliance requirements.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Assist with quotations for remedial and project works.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.

Essential Requirements

  • F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' commercial HVAC experience.
  • Experience working on split, multi-split and VRF/VRV systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

  • Refrigeration experience.
  • Heat pump experience.
  • Electrical qualifications.
  • Experience working within a REFCOM accredited business.
  • Experience pricing remedial works and small projects.
