We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our continued growth in Scotland with a dedicated focus on the HVAC sector. This role is tasked with expanding our presence in HVAC applications by driving the sales of our core products. You will be responsible for identifying new HVAC market opportunities, managing established accounts, and providing technical and commercial expertise to satisfy complex customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate profitable sales and market the full business portfolio across Scotland, with a primary focus on growth within the HVAC sector.
  • Identify and seek out prospective new customers, specifically targeting HVAC contractors, BMS companies and OEMs that are currently within our territory.
  • Visit customers to create demand against company verticals and provide solutions for HVAC and power distribution requirements.
  • Identify and qualify customer requirements, passing all formal enquiries internally to our technical and sales teams for processing.
  • Present quotation proposals, follow up leads, negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline development, providing weekly activity reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Ideally educated to HNC level in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience and success in technical or industrial sales, preferably within the HVAC or electrical sector.
  • Ability to provide technical advice regarding the application and benefits of high-end industrial and HVAC solutions.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working largely unsupervised and remotely.
  • Confident, outgoing personality with strong communication and relationship building skills and computer literacy.
