Key Responsibilities Manage the estimation department and work with the team to deliver estimates across all operations.
Develop and present detailed estimates or proposals to management.
Analyse costs effectively including gathering and organising information from clients.
Negotiate with clients on pricing, variations, rates, and changes to service agreements.
Foster sustainable relationships with both clients and suppliers.
Ensure prompt responses that align with set timelines and commitments.
Abide by the regulations of the Data Protection Act Carry out additional tasks as reasonably requested by the management team.
Essential Criteria Proven estimating experience across a range of mechanical, electrical installation and maintenance works.
Comprehension and familiarity with electrical or mechanical systems combined with knowledge of a variety of pricing techniques.
Ability to manage a team of estimators.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and without constant oversight.
Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities.
Communicate effectively and clearly.
Capable of collaborative teamwork, fostering and maintaining good professional relationships.
Desirable Criteria Familiarity with PPM and renewable energy works.
Possession of a valid CSR/CSCS accreditation or equivalent.
Prior experience in a comparable senior position.
Excellent negotiation skills and analytical capabilities.
A strong commitment to ongoing professional growth.
