Our Duns site, based in the Scottish Borders is looking for a Hygiene Team Member for its Packhall. This role includes ensuring that all site cleaning schedules, customer standards and audit standards are adhered to, including deep cleaning of machinery.

Reporting to:
Production Manager
Main responsibilities
- Performing high and low-level cleaning of the factory
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records, equipment and PPE
- Handling production recycling
- Using cleaning equipment as required for the task being undertaken e.g. broom/mops/cloths
- Communicating effectively with the Production Manager and other colleagues
- Providing cover when needed for other Hygiene Team Members
Our ideal candidate will have the following
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment in a similar role
- Excellent organisation and communication sills
- Clear understanding of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures
- Good time management to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time
- Experience with COSHH
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of BRC and HACCP requirements
