As an Engineering Team Leader, your role will include the co-ordination of engineering activities to efficiently cover breakdowns, support production and complete planned preventative maintenance.
Location: Cambridgeshire
Reporting to:
- Leading, developing and motivating direct reports
- Co-ordinating and monitoring planned preventative maintenance ensuring that remedial work is completed in a timely manner
- Covering breakdowns and supporting production, providing improvement information to the Senior Engineer
- Monitoring the Engineering Parts Store to ensure stock is to the required amount
- Participating in project work ensuring deadlines are met and work is to a high-quality standard
- Completing electrical fault finding, programming of drives, replacement and set up of electrical components, and safe systems of work
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Hold recognised Engineering qualifications in electrical and mechanical subjects
- Experience in a similar role with focus on planned preventative maintenance
- Experience leading a team in a similar environment
- Excellent planning skills, organisational and communication skills
- Computer literate with Microsoft packages e.g. Word/Excel/Outlook
- Competent in electrical fault finding and safe systems of work
- Valid forklift license ITSSAR, AITT or RTITB standard
