To visit a number of designated customers daily to apply fertiliser and herbicide.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain contact with customers before treatments, informing them of appointment times.
  • Visit designated customers daily to apply fertiliser and herbicide.
  • Inform customers when you arrive; if unavailable, proceed with treatment.
  • Notify customers upon completion, provide invoice and explain work performed.
  • Inform customers of next treatment date.
  • Identify lawn issues and offer advice on lawn and mowing practices and additional treatments.
  • Perform spring/autumn machine work (aerators, scarifiers, lawn top‑dressers) using professional machinery.
  • Conduct aeration and scarification safely, clearing waste with garden tools.
  • Work alone or as part of a team on physically demanding machine work, maintaining general fitness.
  • Adhere to health and safety practices supplied by Green Thumb Limited.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness of the company vehicle and ensure all servicing is completed.
  • Maintain a professional and smart appearance at all times.
  • Carry out any necessary simple service calls as they arise.
  • Perform lawn analysis and provide quotations as required.
  • Support business growth by speaking to potential customers and providing point‑of‑sale material.
  • Maintain and update stock reports when required.
