The Site Storeman is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment on-site. This role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, securely stored, and readily available to support site operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Organize and maintain the store area to ensure cleanliness, safety, and accessibility.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the relevant departments.
- Issue tools, equipment, and materials to site personnel as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or digital systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and site teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage area.
- Assist with loading/unloading and transportation of goods when necessary.
