About the Role
At Panda, we are looking for a reliable and hard‑working Site Cleaner to help keep our site clean, safe, and well maintained. As a Site Cleaner, you will play an important role in supporting day‑to‑day operations by carrying out cleaning tasks across the facility, removing waste materials, following cleaning schedules and helping to maintain a safe working environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sweeping, shovelling and removing waste or debris from designated areas.
- Carrying out routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping and sanitising where required.
- Following cleaning schedules to help minimise disruption and downtime.
- Using a range of hand tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Collecting and disposing of waste materials in line with site procedures.
- Supporting the cleaning and basic upkeep of waste management equipment and machinery.
- Reporting any safety concerns, incidents, cleaning issues or maintenance requirements to a supervisor.
- Maintaining good standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.
- Keeping basic records of cleaning activity where required.
- Operating mobile plant if trained, authorised and required.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required by the company.
About You
- Reliable, punctual and able to report to work on time.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
- Able to climb ladders and work at heights where required.
- Willing and able to be harness trained.
- Safety‑conscious, with a good understanding of site rules and procedures.
- Able to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Comfortable using hand tools and cleaning equipment.
- Detail‑focused, with pride in keeping the site clean and safe.
- Able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning, waste, recycling, industrial or operational environment.
- An understanding of lock‑off procedures and the ability to complete a lock‑off form.
- Experience working at heights or using harness equipment.
- Bobcat experience, although this is not essential as training may be provided where required.
