About The Role
At Panda, we keep the country moving by delivering reliable waste and recycling services that support local communities and businesses. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Quarrington team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands‑on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering, exchanging and collecting containers across commercial and industrial sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly (DVSA compliance)
- Using tablet‑based systems to maintain accurate digital records and waste transfer notes
- Working safely at all times and following site, transport and road regulations
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site
- Supporting the wider transport and depot team at our Quarrington site
What we’re looking for
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience in skip or RoRo operations within the waste sector
- Strong understanding of driver compliance, vehicle safety and waste duty of care
- A reliable, professional approach with strong safety standards
- Good communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including a 6am start and occasional Saturday work
