Salary - Β£12.71 per hour

Hours - Bank - Must have availibilty from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

About the Role

As a Home Helper, you`ll visit customers in their own homes, offering both practical help and meaningful social interaction.

  • Walsall based (you will need to have access to your own vehicle)
  • Supporting with household tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and ironing
  • Accompanying clients to GP or hospital appointments
  • Providing short periods of respite for carers, including those supporting loved ones with dementia
  • Offering friendly conversation and companionship? an essential part of the role
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting any wellbeing concerns
  • Helping people access other services that could improve their quality of life

Various shifts Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm

About You

Our role is ideal for someone who is naturally caring, reliable, and approachable, with a genuine passion for helping others; someone who can build trusting relationships, communicate with empathy, support people with patience and understanding, working independently while managing their time effectively, stay observant to changes in wellbeing, and remain flexible in meeting a variety of customer needs.

  • Be kind, patient, and a good listener
  • Enjoy building relationships and connecting with people
  • Be reliable and able to work independently
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle (business insurance required)

Travel time and mileage are paid.
