Supplier Assurance & Relationship Manager
Birmingham, Brindley Place – Hybrid.
Salary – £33,400 to £41,800 per annum – depending on skills and experience.

About the role
You will lead the proactive management of GSA`s supplier base, ensuring effective onboarding, performance monitoring, risk management and ongoing maintenance of supplier relationships. You will be responsible for overseeing the availability and accuracy of group-wide contract arrangements within the Source to Pay system, driving increased compliance and alignment with GSA`s Procurement Policy.
You will manage contract records across all relevant systems, including Source to Pay and MRI, ensuring accuracy through the contract lifecycle – from set up to termination. A key aspect of the role involves identifying, reporting and mitigating supplier and contract risks, while also ensuring legal compliance with external regulations such as the Procurement Act 2023.
Additionally, you will be accountable for the management and regulatory compliance of utility suppliers across the GSA portfolio.

About you
You will have procurement experience, good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations/Procurement Act 2023 and be willing to work towards CIPS qualification or able to demonstrate similar standard via career experience. You will have experience in supplier management, procurement compliance or contract assurance and ideally within the housing, local government or similar regulated sector.
You will have good understanding of contract documentation and management including around compliance and SLA`s/KPIs. Experience of using a Source To Pay system will also be highly beneficial.
You will have strong commercial and business awareness, and excellent stakeholder communication skills. You will need to be competent with using MS office, especially MS Word and Excel.
