About the role
Working for Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS – part of GreenSquareAccord), GDASS provides support to victims of domestic abuse (16+) living in Gloucestershire. We are currently recruiting for a Safe Accommodation Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join GDASS on a temporary basis, with opportunity to extend the contract pending future funding. Note: DBS check required if successful.
About you
The successful candidate will work as part of the newly commissioned safe accommodation team, supporting clients at standard and medium risk of domestic abuse where housing is identified as a need or barrier to safety. They will identify risk and create support plans, provide advocacy, help clients understand the dynamics of abuse, and refer to other support services.
