Homeless / Ex Offender Support Worker

Location: Birmingham, B29 7JS

Salary: £11.12ph

Working hours: Full Time - 35 hours

Shift Patterns:

• Early - 07.30 - 14.30
• Mid - 08.30 - 17.00
• Afternoon/evening - 15.00 - 23.00
• Sleep in - 23.00 - 07.30

Additional Sleep-in allowance: £88.57 per sleep-in (required 6/7 times per month)

In Your New Role, You Will:

• Provide tenancy related support to homeless ex-offenders.
• Work in the community to support ex-offenders within their own tenancies.
• Provide person centred support to clients to resettle them back into the community.
• Complete all essential support tasks while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Special Requirements: The post holder will be expected to be part of a 4 week rolling rota which will include working weekends and bank holidays. You will be expected to complete on average 6/7 sleep ins per month, with additional pay for sleep ins.

You Will Ideally Have:

• Experience and relevant knowledge of the needs of ex-offenders and vulnerable people.
• Confidence to work within a small team as well as being a lone worker.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages and maintaining accurate written records.
• A full Driving Licence and access to your own car.
