Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to staff, promoting high standards of care and professionalism.
  • Support staff development through supervision, appraisal and training.
  • Support the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred services that meet legal regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Monitor performance against key indicators and contribute to service improvement plans.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, families, professionals and partner organisations.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent services; be confident in managing teams, handling complex situations and making sound decisions.

Qualifications

  • 12 months experience within regulated care at Deputy Manager level within Learning Disability services.
  • Experience of supervising teams and delivering high-quality care services.
  • Strong communication, organisational and effective relationship building skills.
  • A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to use Nourish or similar digital social care platforms.
  • Willingness to travel across the midlands to attend meetings and events at other local services.
