Location: 11-14 Grosvenor Gardens, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN38 0AE

Pay: £13.34 – £15.07 per hour

Shifts: 8am – 8pm Long Days (Flexibility Required)

As a Senior Care Assistant, You Will:

  • Assist residents with personal care needs.
  • Carry out regular checks on residents and the building, with special reference to fire prevention, as directed by the manager while preserving residents’ privacy.
  • Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene, including incontinence.
  • Be aware of residents’ whereabouts if they are absent from their bedroom.

To Apply, You Will Need:

  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification.
  • Proven ability and experience in safe administration of medication.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Experience of providing care.

The successful applicant will be appointed subject to providing evidence of ISA first and enhanced DBS disclosure. This post is not subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
