This field-based role reports to Regional Managers and involves running care homes in the absence of the Home Manager or Deputy, or providing support as needed. You will ensure the highest quality care standards, oversee medication administration per Greensleeves policy, conduct head office visits, liaise with healthcare professionals and local authorities, and support recruitment, care planning, staff training, and compliance with CQC regulations.
Your role will include:
- Maintain a stimulated, caring environment prioritising resident health, safety, and welfare.
- Ensure sufficient staffing, complete care plans, and uphold property standards.
- Manage administration, petty cash, incident reporting, and staff attendance systems.
- Facilitate staff meetings, supervisions, and training; support fire safety and disciplinary processes.
- Promote Greensleeves values of respect, openness, and responsibility.
What you need:
- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Care Services or equivalent.
- Previous experience of working with a large multi-site Care Provider within a capacity of a high Level Manager.
- Experience of working within the Regulatory Framework specific to Care Homes.
- Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards.
- Work flexibly across homes, weekends, overnights near homes, and frequent travel to all 27 locations as required - a full, clean UK driving licence is mandatory.
