About Us

At Greensleeves Care we deliver exceptional 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care to older people across our 28 care homes in England. We are an accredited Living Wage employer and Greensleeves Care are endorsed with Skills for Care and an Assured City and Guilds provider who offer a range of free learning and development to our colleagues.
As an L&D Advisor, you will:
- Deliver mandatory training, compliance and required training (for example Safeguarding, MCA/DoLs, Infection Control, Record keeping, Health, Safety & Well-being, Dining Experience, managing Success in Dementia care, possibly moving and assisting, etc.) at all allocated homes.
- Oversee and have responsibility for the recording of training throughout the Trust.
- Assist in the design of mandatory compliance and required training sessions as required.
- Attend necessary training events as required.
- Support with maintaining the Trust's training KPI's, liaising with homes and proactively following up failures to meet the identified KPI's.
- Assist the Learning and Development Manager in the drawing up of an annual Training & Development plan for each of your allocated homes.
- Contribute to divisional reports where required.
- Be able to carry out frequent travel nationwide.
You will be regularly travelling to the homes in the locations below: Ely, Bedford, Huntingdon, Acton, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Tooting.
To apply, you will need:
- GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
- PTTLS L3 or equivalent training qualification
- L3 NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Substantial experience of working as a trainer in social care
- Proven track record in facilitating and delivery of high quality training.
- Understanding of the Health and Social Care training agenda
- Knowledge of the care sector, and in particular elderly residential care
