Head Chef (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Greensleeves Care is looking for an experienced Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen at The Meadowcroft in Tooting. This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract based in London (28 Springfield Drive, SW17 0SD). The role pays £18.59 per hour, with 40 hours per week and shifts that will be discussed at interview, including alternate weekends.

Responsibilities
- Draw up varied menus that are balanced, cater for special diets (e.g. low‑fat, diabetic, religious) and incorporate choice.
- Cater for special occasions within the home.
- Control stocks and purchases, allocating materials and ensuring purchases stay within the allocated budget.
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety rules are observed by all colleagues.
Qualifications
- Relevant food hygiene and food preparation qualifications.
- Understanding of the importance of food for residents.
- Understanding of the importance of a balanced and varied diet.
- Experience of serving food in a professional environment.
