About Borovere

Borovere is a long-established care home in the area, recognised for delivering residential, respite, and dementia care. Situated on the outskirts of Alton and surrounded by neighbouring homes, Borovere occupies its own attractive grounds. The home offers spacious, fully furnished bedrooms, each with access to either an en‑suite bathroom or a contemporary wet room. Residents are encouraged to personalise their spaces with treasured items, photographs, ornaments, or small pieces of furniture, to promote comfort, familiarity, and positive wellbeing.

As a Care Assistant (Nights), you will:

  • Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice.
  • Assist with preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning.
  • Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
  • Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
  • Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care - Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.

  • An understanding of the needs of residents.
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
  • Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent (Desirable).
  • Experience of providing care (Desirable).
  • Experience of working with elders (Desirable).
