About Borovere Care Home
Borovere is a long-established care home in the area, recognised for delivering residential, respite, and dementia care. Situated on the outskirts of Alton and surrounded by neighbouring homes, Borovere occupies its own attractive grounds. The home offers spacious, fully furnished bedrooms, each with access to either an en‑suite bathroom or a contemporary wet room. Residents are encouraged to personalise their spaces with treasured items, photographs, ornaments, or small pieces of furniture, to promote comfort, familiarity, and positive wellbeing.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will:
- Regular cleaning of residents’ rooms
- Regular cleaning of lounge and hallways, other communal areas and office areas.
- Damp dusting, mopping floors and vacuuming as necessary
- Regular cleaning of bathrooms and toilets, including scrubbing and de‑scaling baths and tiles, clearing plug holes and taps de‑scaling showerheads, removing soap and cleaning around light switches and door handles etc.

- Ability to manage basic documentation e.g., cleaning schedules
- Good written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work unsupervised.
