Greensleeves Care is looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to grow occupancy across a cluster of care homes in Cambridgeshire. This is a hands‑on, commercially focused role where success is measured by increased enquiries, strong local partnerships, and filled beds.
What will you do?
- You’ll take ownership of lead generation activity, working closely with Home Managers and Family Liaison Managers to deliver sustained occupancy growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and manage local referral networks (hospitals, GPs, social workers, community groups)
- Drive community engagement - events, open days, local outreach
- Develop relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers
- Maximise enquiry generation
- Use local market insight to identify opportunities and competition
Marketing & Growth
You’ll work alongside the central marketing team and home teams to:
- Optimise online presence (care home listings, SEO, lead platforms)
- Leverage digital marketing channels (Google, social media, email)
- Ensure strong local brand visibility
- Turn marketing activity into real enquiries and admissions
- Broaden the portfolio of new relationships the home can nurture
- Support the sales team to increase showarounds and drive sales

About You
- Proven experience in business development, sales, market, or occupancy growth (care sector highly desirable, considered purchase sector essential)
- Strong track record of relationship building and influencing locally
