The Role:
This is a full time, permanent position commencing asap.
An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to support our Block and Estate Management team in our busy office in Taunton. The role is key to the success of the department in providing excellent service to both external and internal customers. This is a demanding role in a busy environment.
Specific tasks include:
- Filing, administration, archiving, scanning of documents.
- Preparing documents invoices, statements and schedules using MS products and our property management database.
- Being part of the extended team answering telephone enquiries, directing calls to colleagues, assisting with queries and taking messages.
- Working alongside our accounts department dealing with any accounting queries.
- Liaising with contractors, clients, accountants and other stakeholders.
- Progress chasing as directed. Liaising with other departments and reporting to Head of Department accordingly.
- Supporting other members of the team as and when required.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude to work, be personable and extremely keen to learn.The right candidate needs to have previous experience in working in a busy multi-disciplined department. Previous experience is essential using MS products including Word, Excel and Publisher. Previous experience using a database would be preferable, although full training will be given. A computer aptitude test will be required as part of the interview process.

You will be required to work 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary will be negotiable and dependant on experience.
