Based in Farnham, Hemel, Braintree, Burgess Hill, Thatcham or the Midlands
We are seeking experienced Field Service Engineers based at four of our depots: Farnham, Hemel, Braintree, Burgess Hill, or Thatcham. Additionally, we are looking for engineers to cover the Midlands region. The role involves servicing and repairing JCB construction plant and equipment for a diverse customer base across the South East of England.
- Provide onsite customer support for machinery within the region
- Maintain machinery in optimal condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Complete jobs efficiently, to a high standard, and within set timeframes
- Develop and sustain good relationships with internal and external customers
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Ensure all work and personal equipment comply with safety standards
- Supervise apprentices when required to ensure quality work and safety procedures
Key skills required:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plant/Land-Based Mechanical Engineering
- Or 10 years of relevant experience in Plant/Land-based mechanics
- Ability to service a wide range of heavy tracked JCB machinery
- Investigate and diagnose technical problems
- CPCS Card
- Strong interpersonal, customer, and commercial awareness
- Efficient, flexible, and able to work independently
