We are looking for a Media Lead and English Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join Coombe Wood School and become an integral member of the Teaching team. We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and collaborative teacher of English and Media Studies. This exciting role will involve teaching English at both KS3 and 4 and taking ownership of the Media Studies GCSE delivery.

Main responsibilities:

  • Delivering English Lessons to KS3 & KS4 classes
  • Assisting with wider English Planning
  • Taking ownership of the Media Studies GCSE, including lesson design, planning, delivery, course work and mocks marking and recording of student academic progress to departmental deadlines.

You will need:

  • QTS Status
  • Good Hons Degree in supporting subjects
  • Willingness to undertake further CPD
