You will be working for a successful and award-winning, owner-managed Garden Landscaping company with a proven track record in building and maintaining garden projects from the smallest domestic schemes to the largest private gardens. The Gardening Teams are fully mobile and you will travel from home to your allotted sites in your company vehicle on a daily basis. You will be looking after gardens all across Central and West London and have an occasional visit to the company offices in Chiswick.

Many of the gardens that you will look after have been designed and built by the company and you will ensure that they look their best as they continue to develop and mature. The work is a mix of general grass care, hedging, maintenance, and fine gardening that requires work to the highest standards.

You will have a reasonable knowledge of gardening practices and will probably have an RHS (or equivalent) qualification to Level 2. You will often be “the face of the company” with both clients and their representatives and should therefore have a pleasant, friendly manner and good communication skills.

You will ensure that you have the correct uniform and PPE and that the vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate. You will maintain your tools correctly to ensure their serviceability. You will ensure that stock and materials are available for each job/site on a daily basis and submit requests for additional items. You will report progress and the work completed on a daily basis.

The Person:

Ideally you will have a landscaping or gardening qualification, at least two years of previous experience, and a broad range of landscaping skills. A Driving Licence is ESSENTIAL.

  • RHS Level 2 - Horticulture (or a suitable equivalent)
  • PA1 & PA6 certificate
  • CS30 & CS31
  • Trailer licence / experience
