As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services we have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide our customers with guidance and advice through this complex market. We offer a huge range of additional services, such as IT spares and logistics throughout the UK, as well as datacentre and office relocations, configuration and build, bonded stock, engineers and project managers along with Greensafe Global, our hardware specialist IT brokerage service.
The logistics Operational Support will play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency and compliance of the vehicle fleet and plant equipment. This position is responsible for assisting in ensuring that all vehicles and machinery meet industry standards, maintaining regulatory compliance, and scheduling regular maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of vehicle and plant maintenance procedures, as well as knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor driver hours, infringements, and overall performance.
- Schedule onsite works, vehicle maintenance, and machinery upkeep (generators, shredders, etc.).
- Support Transport Lead and Onsite Manager with daily operations.
- Book vehicle repairs and maintain 12-week maintenance schedules.
- Maintain operational dashboards and accurate billing information across departments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, engineers, and internal teams.
- Review engineer and customer feedback, relaying insights to leadership.
- Track driving behaviours, including speed, breaks, and compliance.
- Ensure expenses, speeding fines, and parking fines are processed accurately.
- Follow up on quality of work to maintain high service standards.
- Organise and prioritise team activities, ensuring daily targets are clear and achievable.
- Promote effective communication between peers, management, and other teams.
- Ensure all driving standards and compliance requirements are consistently met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational data.
- Plan and publish scheduling accurately and in a timely manner.
