Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 2:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Investigate & Case Support
- Assist with fact-finding for minor incidents
- Obtain student and witness statements
- Prepare structured incident reports for school leaders
2. Student Engagement & Mentorship
- Build positive relationships through regular check-ins and mentoring
- Provide social-emotional support to students
- Patrol school areas to identify students needing help
- Promote inclusion and sense of belonging
3. Parent Engagement
- Partner with parents via calls, meetings, or home visits
- Update parents on progress and concerns
- Co-develop strategies for better behaviour and attendance
4. Documentation & Case Management
- Keep accurate case notes and progress records
- Attend regular case reviews with HOD Student Management
- Refer students to external agencies (FSC, MSF) when needed
5. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
- Design and run SEL modules for selected students
- Provide in-class support to observe and guide students
6. Administrative Support
- Track late-coming, offences, and interventions
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all student information
- Perform other student management duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be registered with MOE
- Must come from former uniformed service or social service background (e.g., police, prison service, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience working directly with at-risk youth in schools, community, or correctional settings
- Must have genuine passion for working with children and believe in their potential to grow
