We're Hiring: Resident Engineer C&S Jurong Island
Working Hours: 6 days per week, Mon to Sat.
Start Date: 1 to 2 month Notice period can apply!
Job Description:
- The responsibility of the RE (Civil & Structural) includes assisting QP(S) in the daily supervision and coordination duties including civil and structural works, site investigations, and building works.
- Lead, monitor and supervise RTOs on Site.
- Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works.
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractor.
- Keep quality records of all works, monitor & report on work progress.
- Review and comment on contractor's submissions.
- Check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as-built quantity for the variations.
- Undertake any other duties related to the project as instructed by the Engineer.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress.
- Carry out any other works as reasonably deemed to be the scope of an RE (Civil & Structural) in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered as RE (C&S) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in C&S works as a Resident Engineer in building projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Familiar with steel structure and piling inspection, piling load test and excavation works.
- Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within a team environment when required.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
