We are seeking a skilled AV & ICT Support Officer to manage and maintain AV and ICT equipment, ensuring smooth operations for school events, lessons, and examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, test, and dismantle AV systems including sound, lighting, projectors, and visualizers for school events, assemblies, meetings, and special occasions.
  • Provide daily technical support for ICT and AV equipment in classrooms and specialised rooms to ensure uninterrupted learning and activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, loan records, and usage tracking of AV/ICT equipment and accessories to optimize resource management.
  • Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with vendors for timely servicing and repairs of AV/ICT equipment.
  • Support examination-related AV tasks such as audio playback, CD preparation, and equipment setup to facilitate smooth exam processes.
  • Assist in photography and video recording for school events and activities to document and promote school programs.
  • Train IT Club students on Public Address (PA) system operations to build student technical skills and support school events.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for AV and ICT issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the ICT department to support overall AV/ICT functions.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in IT, Multimedia, Audio-Visual Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Good technical knowledge of AV/ICT systems and equipment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and students.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in managing equipment and tasks.
