We are seeking a skilled alloy wheel refurber to use CNC for diamond cutting, TIG welding, and powder coating to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal products, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and technical proficiency are essential. The Powder Coater will play a vital part in maintaining the production flow and delivering products that meet our quality specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as required.
  • Operate powder coating equipment efficiently, ensuring even application of coatings.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired finish quality.
  • Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and perform touch-ups if necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on coating machinery to ensure optimal performance.
