Location: Hybrid (2+ days per week in our Central London office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: £50 - 70k p.a. dependent on experience. 0.1% - 0.25% share options available.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with modern web frameworks (ReactJS, Python, AWS) & APIs, as well as a working knowledge with back-end Python. AI development tooling such as Claude Code and Cursor is encouraged. Our technical tests will be testing candidates both with and without AI support. This is a full-stack role.

What are we looking for?
What will you be doing?
- Building and maintaining APIs that power our products.
- Developing full-stack applications using React and Next.js, with a Python Back-end.
- Build AI-driven product features with Claude Code, and continuously refine the prompts, patterns, and team workflows around it.
- Use frontend frameworks such as shadcn and tailwind-ui to build features without the need for high-fidelity designs.
- Working with our data team to surface insights in usable interfaces.
- Improving deployment pipelines and infrastructure (AWS, Terraform).
- Shipping iteratively and responding to customer feedback quickly.
- Collaborating directly with the platform and data teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Building a comprehensive understanding of our existing products and identifying areas for enhancement.
- Where required, helping with DevOps tasks and infrastructure automation.
- Documenting implementation processes clearly and concisely.
- Contributing to product discussions, bringing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Working as part of a tight-knit start-up team to make our vision of sustainability across the cloud a reality.
What skills are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on building across the full stack of products.
- Designing features as they are built, extrapolating from existing or rough designs using UI frameworks such as shadcn and Tailwind UI.
- Experience building web applications with React and NextJS.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL) and how to build and consume them, using Python in FastAPI, Flask or similar framework.
- Experience using Claude Code and/or Cursor to build features.
- Working knowledge of AWS or experience working with other major cloud platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment best practices & the ability to ship full-stack features quickly and iteratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
Nice to have:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI pipelines.
- Experience with data pipelines or working with large datasets.
- Passion for sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of cloud computing.
