Who are Greenpixie? Greenpixie Ltd is an innovative tech start-up dedicated to measuring and reducing the environmental impact of cloud computing. We build trusted methodologies and practical tools that help organisations understand and reduce their cloud emissions. We are in the process of productising our data offering and launching a suite of customer-facing tools. This makes design a critical function across the business, not just for how things look, but for how clearly and effectively they work.

What are we looking for? We are looking for a Designer to take ownership of how Greenpixie products are experienced and understood by users. This is a company-wide design role. You will lead UX and product design across our tools, ensuring that complex data is translated into clear, intuitive, and usable experiences. Alongside this, you will define and maintain the Greenpixie brand across all surfaces, including marketing, website, and commercial outputs. Your primary focus should be on usability, flow, and clarity.

What will you be doing?

  • Owning UX and user flows across Greenpixie products, ensuring they are intuitive, consistent, and easy to use.
  • Designing end-to-end product experiences, from early concepts through to detailed UI ready for engineering implementation.
  • Translating complex data and technical concepts into clear, human-friendly interfaces.
  • Working closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and pragmatically.
  • Owning and evolving the Greenpixie visual brand across all surfaces, including: Website, Product interfaces, Marketing materials, Sales and conference presentations.
  • Creating and maintaining brand guidelines that are clear, practical, and consistently applied.
  • Building and managing a design system in Figma that supports both product development and wider business use.
  • Redesigning and continuously improving the website as a key product and commercial surface.
  • Producing templates and reusable assets for marketing and commercial teams.
  • Running internal workshops to help the team understand and apply UX principles, brand guidelines, and design systems.
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering to shape features and improve how we build and release products.
  • Continuously improving design standards and processes as the company grows.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Strong experience in product design and UX, with a clear focus on user flows and usability.
  • Ability to design intuitive experiences for complex or data-heavy products.
  • Strong visual design skills, with attention to detail in layout, hierarchy, and interaction.
  • Experience designing end-to-end product journeys, not just individual screens.
  • High proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows, especially AI-based tools.
  • Experience working closely with engineers and understanding how designs translate into real products.
  • Ability to take rough ideas or ambiguous requirements and turn them into clear, structured designs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A practical, hands-on mindset with a focus on shipping real work.

Nice to have:

  • Experience creating brand guidelines and design systems.
  • Experience designing marketing websites or conversion-focused pages.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technical products.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks or component-based design.
  • Interest in sustainability, climate-tech, or data-driven products.

We are a fast-growing start-up with a lot of moving parts. We want someone comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and improving how the entire business approaches design. You should care about making things simple, clear, and genuinely useful for users.

What We Offer?

  • Flexible working hours with hybrid office space in Central London.
  • The opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project with a real-world impact.
  • Working with a fun, passionate team in a company that is growing quickly.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and large-scale data systems.
  • Opportunities to attend global conferences in the tech and sustainability sectors (even speaking opportunities if that floats your boat!).
  • Build up an extra day of holiday for every year you spend with us.
  • Competitive salary package.
  • Share options scheme.

How to Apply: If you care about building clear, intuitive, and well-designed products, and want to shape how a fast-growing climate-tech company is experienced by its users, we’d love to hear from you.
