The Head of Trusts and Foundations is a leadership role within our Key Relationships team. You will provide strategic direction and drive significant growth in income from charitable trusts and foundations. This is a chance to lead a critical area of our fundraising mix and create a step-change in activities and outcomes to increase the number and longevity of donors giving at the six and seven-figure grant level. You will have the support of a small team and a well-developed operations unit to drive the programme forward.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and drive significant growth in income from charitable trusts and foundations.
- Lead a critical area of our fundraising mix to increase six- and seven-figure grant level donors.
- Manage a small team and collaborate with a well-developed operations unit.
- Craft and convey compelling stories and cases to secure philanthropic support in collaboration with colleagues.
- Work with partners to create resilient, innovative fundraising plans.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of securing gifts from trusts and foundations at the six-figure level or more.
- Experience in managing people and getting the best out of them.
- Creativity, highly developed relationship-building skills, and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work in lock-step with colleagues to craft and convey compelling stories and cases for philanthropic support.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a solutions-focused approach.
