As a Social Lead, you will play an important role in providing strategic support across our key verticals: Luxury, Food & Drink, Beauty & Wellbeing and Pharmaceuticals. Based in the UK, you'll lead social strategy, community management and team delivery across the categories, while immersing yourself in the online/digital media world and staying ahead of industry developments.
What you’ll do:
- Lead social media strategy and community management across our Diamonds, Food & Drink and Pharma accounts, tailoring approaches to each vertical's audience and objectives.
- Lead, mentor and manage social media and community management teams, providing clear direction and quality control across markets.
- Partner with content, creative and paid media teams to develop compelling, platform-native content that drives awareness, consideration and conversion.
- Champion social search and platform best practice, helping brands optimise content for discovery and stay ahead of emerging trends.
- Advise on the role of social content in AI visibility, helping strengthen brand presence and citation within AI-generated answers.
- Own insight and reporting across all verticals - from social listening and competitor benchmarking to campaign analysis - presenting recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Set and maintain governance documents, tone of voice guidelines and community response matrices across accounts.
About you:
- Significant experience (5+ years) in social media leadership, including managing community management functions and mentoring teams across markets or categories.
- Experience across a number of verticals is preferred; luxury, beauty, food & drink/FMCG, or pharma/healthcare experience would be an advantage, along with comfort managing multiple clients simultaneously.
- A strong understanding of social platforms, their role in publishing, and best-practice content formats for each channel and audience.
- Knowledge of social search is a huge bonus.
- An understanding of the growing role social plays in AI visibility.
- An expert understanding of social reporting and analytics, with the ability to interpret data to shape strategy.
- Experience in both organic and paid social preferred, with the ability to align strategies across paid, organic and web.
