About the role
The Senior Project Manager strengthens the core of Greenpark’s EMEA Delivery team.
You will run client projects end to end, but the role is equally about the operational backbone of
Delivery: accurate resourcing, reliable revenue forecasting, and trusted project data.
You will be a safe pair of hands on major accounts, a source of resilience and coverage across the Delivery team, and a visible adopter of AI‑enabled ways of working as we embed AI across the agency.
This role is UK‑based.
- What you’ll do
- Manages assigned projects end to end – on brief, on time, on budget, with quality and margin protected.
- Co-ordinates project set‑up and kick‑offs, to ensure projects are off to a good start.
- Is the first point of escalation for project issues; unearths and resolves them early with the team and project leads, escalating further as appropriate.
- Proactively builds relationships with client stakeholders and provides guidance, issue resolution, and comfort during important or challenging project stages.
- Contributes to new business activities, particularly pitch development and pitch delivery.
- Manages resourcing across assigned accounts to ensure the best use of billable talent, maintaining an accurate forward view of team capacity.
- Accountable for reliable revenue forecasting on assigned accounts – accurate project data in our systems, risks and changes flagged early to Client Services and Finance.
- Monitors project costs and margins, working with Client Services Leads to ensure proper billing and invoicing.
- Team & practice
- Guides, manages, and develops Project Managers, and runs training sessions to ensure a streamlined way of working is followed across all projects and workstreams.
- Keeps project status reports up to date; monitors and enforces project constraints (schedule / scope / resources).
- Champions internal systems for higher‑productivity working and collaborates in delivering against critical metrics for our business.
- Works with AI tools daily as part of how you deliver – status reporting, documentation, resourcing analysis, and QA – in line with Greenpark’s AI Policy and approved tools.
- Helps embed AI‑enabled ways of working across the Delivery team, sharing what works and building confidence in others.
- Comfortable managing projects where AI‑assisted content production forms part of the delivery workflow, ensuring appropriate QA and human review steps.
- Reporting and communication structure
- The Senior Project Manager reports to a Project Director, dependent on project accounts.
- Performance and progression are reviewed together with the Project Director and Operations Director.
- The Senior Project Manager should be in close communication with the Project Director, Operations Director, (Senior) Account Directors, and Client Group Partners, where applicable.
- The Senior Project Manager should liaise with all Client Services and Project Management staff on project quality, timings, and project margins.
About you
- 6–8 years of project management experience in a digital, content, or creative agency, including 2+ years at Senior PM level or equivalent (Delivery Manager, Project Lead).
- Proven track record delivering for global brand clients – FMCG, healthcare, or similar scale.
- Hands‑on resourcing and revenue forecasting experience; confident with agency job costing / project management systems (Paprika or equivalent).
- Already working with AI as part of how you run delivery – you can name the tools you use daily and the workflows you have changed because of them.
- Commercially sharp – you understand margin, scope creep, and when to elevate.
- An excellent communicator, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing senior client stakeholders.
- Experience guiding and developing junior Project Managers.
