Freelance Site Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on a fast-paced construction project.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and deliveries to meet programme milestones.
  • Maintain site H&S compliance, conduct inductions and toolbox talks, and keep RAMS up to date.
  • Manage quality control, snagging, and site documentation (daily diaries, permits, inspections).
  • Liaise with the client, PM, and design team; attend progress meetings and issue reports.
  • Monitor materials, plant, and logistics; resolve on-site issues promptly.

About you

  • Proven site management experience in construction/fit-out/refurb (SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of H&S, RAMS, permits, and CDM.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to read drawings, manage programmes, and deliver to deadlines.
