Job Description:
- Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
- Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system.
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
- Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of hazardous works.
- Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
- Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures are briefed to workers and sub-contractors.
- Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
- Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
- Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain and monitor EHS records/checklists.
- Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
- Investigate and report all WSH incidents & near misses.
- Conduct WSH and other related training.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
Job Requirement:
- WSQ advance certificate in WSH with valid Refresher certificate.
- Risk management course.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction.
