Job Summary

You will supervise contractors and perform troubleshooting, simple preventive maintenance, and system checks on instrumentation, control, and automation systems while ensuring safety compliance and supporting management with related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise contractors working on instrumentation, control, and automation systems to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and simple preventive maintenance on electrical, electronic, and automated systems to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct system checks and monitor performance of instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Prepare and submit detailed work reports, maintenance checklists, and progress updates to document activities and support management decisions.
  • Monitor site safety and enforce contractor adherence to safety protocols for electronic and automated systems.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc tasks related to instrumentation, control, automation, and IT systems as needed.
  • Travel between multiple sites using own transport to support operations across locations.
  • Adapt to outdoor work environments and varying site conditions to ensure task completion.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Cyber and Network Security, Robotics & Smart Systems, Mechatronics, IT System & Network, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in instrumentation, control, automation, or engineering-related fields.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Fresh graduates with Higher NITEC and strong interest in modern control and automation systems.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
