The Food Packer is responsible for packing, labelling, and preparing meals and beverages for airline flights while ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and airline quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Pack airline meals, snacks, and beverages accurately according to flight schedules and specifications.
- Portion, label, and seal food items correctly to meet airline requirements.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards by following HACCP and GMP protocols.
- Inspect food quality, freshness, and presentation before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to airline-specific catering guidelines and loading instructions for safe delivery.
- Keep workstations, tools, and packing areas clean and organized to support food safety.
- Assist in managing inventory and reducing food waste through careful handling and stock control.
- Work efficiently under time constraints to meet flight departure deadlines.
- Comply with all health, safety, and company policies consistently during work.
Required competencies and certifications:
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
Other Information:
- Working Hours: 44 hours per week, based on site roster, 5 days a week.
- Location: Changi Near Terminal 2.
- Project Duration: Long term (minimum 2 years).
- Employment Type: Full Time.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months in food packing preferred; freshers welcome.
