We are a family run business with 20+ years experience in the motor trade, committed to providing our customers with a hassle free car buying experience.

Due to ongoing expansion, we now have vacancies for technicians in our Vehicle Preparation Centre in Great Harwood. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics in a fast moving, workshop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostic checks and repairs on vehicles that come into our Preparation Centre.
  • Undertake with due care, skill and diligence all requisite repairs and replacements to the industry highest standard.
  • The variety of work undertaken in our Preparation Centre includes gearboxes, timing belts and chains, engine repairs, and light mechanical repairs.
  • Undertake road tests and work with the technician team to understand the possible reasons for faults.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Essential to hold a full UK / EU Driving Licence
  • Experienced as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
  • Relevant City and Guilds qualification
  • Level 3 Qualification or equivalent OR 5 years\’ experience in a workshop environment
  • Own a stocked toolbox and basic servicing items – able to use these for work purposes
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse work group
  • Experienced in communicating effectively with customers, in a clear and concise manner

  • Mechanic: 3 years (Preferred)
