- Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with 5+ years in Accounting and Commercial Operations.
The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 £ per year.
- Manage periodic financial and management accounts preparation for subsidiary.
- Ensure accurate month-end accounting provisions, reconciliations, and FOREX valuations.
- Monitor sales forecasts, cost controls, and gross profit margins.
- Oversee invoicing, billing accuracy, and timely collection of receivables.
- Ensure all balance sheet items, including cash and bank balances, are reconciled with supporting schedules.
- Liaise with HQ finance teams on all accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
- Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports for submission to Global HQ.
- Oversee audit and consolidation of subsidiary’s accounts in coordination with internal and external auditors.
- Review and approve corporate expenses, employee claims, and vendor payments.
- Negotiate commercial contracts with suppliers, customers, and service providers to optimize terms and minimize risk.
- Improve accounting and documentation procedures to ensure compliance with the statutory and corporate requirements.
- Perform any ad hoc financial and operational duties assigned by management.
- Manage order placement with factories, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Education & Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Commercial Operations.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance, VAT, and customs/import procedures.
- Proven track record in order management, vendor coordination, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred).
- Experience with customs documentation, freight coordination, and clearing agents.
