Established in 2007, XDI is the world’s longest-standing independent specialist in physical climate risk and adaptation analytics.
The role of Senior Strategist & Head of EU & UK Operations involves:
- Leading the identification of new opportunities, strengthening commercial systems, and ensuring efficient delivery of the organisation’s mission.
- Partnering with the Global Head of Commercial & Partnerships to develop UK and EU impact campaigns.
- Building strong relationships with NGOs, NFPs, and government agencies.
- Translating the organisation’s Theory of Change into actionable campaign strategies.
- Providing strategic input during planning cycles and enhancing commercial dashboards.
- Fostering a high-performance, values-aligned environment grounded in trust, inclusion, and collaboration.
Capabilities and experience sought after include:
- Senior experience in business development or commercial strategy within NGOs or purpose-driven organisations.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgement.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of climate science, climate risk, or climate-tech ecosystems.
- Deep commitment to ethical leadership and climate impact.
