The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 £ per year.

Salary: Starting from 45,000 dependant on experience plus car/allowance, bonus and enhanced pension.

Location: Hybrid - with travel to our Cannock office regularly (WS11 8JP).

What you'll be doing:

In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs while working closely with senior leadership to drive organisational development. This will also include Talent Programmes for Leadership and our Corporate business unit. You will:

  • Design and implement strategic L&D plans aligned with business objectives
  • Manage and develop a team of 1 L&D professional
  • Create comprehensive learning strategies and manage training budgets
  • Develop leadership programs and training content
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and measure training outcomes
  • Coordinate the delivery of our UK Talent programmes
  • Coordinate with our Corporate business unit heads to identify training needs
  • Ensure compliance with required certifications

This is a real opportunity to step into a leadership role, reporting to the Head of Learning and Development. You will have management of a training budget, creating direct opportunities to impact organisational effectiveness, with significant autonomy in program design and implementation, as well as working on your own career development, with growth opportunities.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a learning and development role, with strong knowledge of learning principles and instructional design, including Talent Programmes
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Experience with LMS and e-learning platforms
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, including Senior Leadership stakeholder experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

  • Professional certifications (CIPD, ILM)
  • Experience in change management
  • Knowledge of performance management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, or related field
