A well-established, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to lead its Green & Blue Infrastructure capability. This is a senior role with responsibility for project delivery, team leadership, and contributing to the ongoing development of landscape and environmental design services. The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, supporting nature-based solutions, climate-resilient design, and integrated landscape strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a landscape and green infrastructure team
- Deliver projects through LI/RIBA design stages, from early strategy to technical design and delivery
- Oversee the preparation of landscape masterplans, green/blue infrastructure plans and detailed design packages
- Coordinate landscape input within multi-disciplinary project teams
- Act as a key client contact and support business development activity
- Manage workflows, resourcing and project delivery performance
- Review, mentor and support the professional development of team members
Requirements
- 8+ yearsβ professional experience in landscape architecture
- Postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture (or related discipline)
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (or equivalent)
- Proven experience leading landscape and/or green infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system
- Experience across all design stages, including tendering and site involvement
- Confident client-facing and collaborative working style
- Strong design, technical and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Revit desirable)
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Masterplanning or urban design experience
- Experience with green infrastructure standards or accreditation
- Strong interest in ecology, planting design and nature-based solutions
